The Freeze Option is a midline style option concept with the addition of a trap by the backside pulling OG.
Below you can see two diagrams of the Freeze Option where the QB steps back with both feet faking the ball up the middle. This gives the pulling OG time to get in front of him.
The Freeze comes in by the TB who pauses for a full count until the mesh of the FB and the QB before falling into pitch relationship with the QB.
