The 1995 Oklahoma State Championship at Guthrie’s “The Rock” stadium. Two very athletic teams and amazing defenses go head to head.
Morrison Oklahoma had, at the time, the longest winning streak in the history of high school football at 90 consecutive wins. The wildcats had won the last seven state titles in a row.
The Snyder Cyclones had been building up to this battle for years. Just 4 years removed from owning the longest consecutive loosing streak in Oklahoma high school football the Cyclones were respectful but not intimidated by the Wildcats.
Enjoy this clash of two highly talented, physical, and passionate teams. This game has been called by some coaches one of the best high school football games ever played.
